A sweet, short week

Highlights: It was a short, sweet week for the Ks. The Halloween events were fun. For the costume parade the Ks walked by the eighth grade judges and  the entire school. They stated their name and their character. They happily watched each grade repeat the process. Later on, they enjoyed the carnival games that the 5-7th graders had set up in the gym.  In the afternoon, they created bats.

Gratitude: Thank you, Rowan and Ali for the snacks.  Thank you Kathy for helping the Ks trace themselves for their skeleton project. Thank you Mike, Amy,  Megan, Craig, and Yosefa  for hanging out with the Ks during the Halloween Parade. Thank you Meghan for the Halloween pictures. If anyone took pictures of the Ks in their costumes and or the Ks at the carnival, please email them to Annie.

We appreciate that many of you were able to come to the parent/teacher conference. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.

Homework: Set aside time for your child to do the  work we gave you at your child’s conference.

Volunteer Support: For the all school Veteran’s Day El Tioga on Friday, November 10th, we need 3 volunteers to make 2 dozen cookies. Please let Annie know if you could make some & send them to school by 9:00 on Friday. Look for more info from Cindy about this event.

We’d like to have a volunteer help out Friday, 11/10 and 11/17 ideally from 8:00-1:00.  However, if you are only free part of the time, that would be okay. Please let Annie know if you are available.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend,

Annie and Margaret
