Today we had a visit from our favorite storyteller with one of our favorite stories: The Perfect Pumpkin Pie!
There’s a lot going on in the coming weeks:
-Next Tuesday is the Monster Dash.
-Also on Tuesday, Kirsten Hardy and Corey Campbell (parents of Chase in fourth grade) are putting together some Halloween fun. This is from Kirsten:
I’m thinking around 5pm, I’ll have some pizza and other snacks to much before going out and getting sugared up. You can give my cell (274-0524) and if people want to go, just ask them to RSVP and I’ll send the address.

-Next Wednesday is our 3-4 Read-In. For those of you new to the learning center, a Read–In is a day dedicated to curling up with a good book and engrossing ourselves in reading. It’s okay to wear pajamas and bring sleeping bags, pillows and lots of books and other reading materials from home. Feel free to bring a book and join us. You can even wear your pajamas.
-Conferences are November 9 and 10, and there’s no school on November 10. If you haven’t yet done so, please sign up at: http://signup.com/go/vZSxjfR
-We’ll be taking a field trip to the Aspen Art Museum on November 16.
-November 17 is our Thanksgiving El Tioga and hopefully our rocket launch.
-Speaking of rockets, we will begin construction soon. If anyone has some time in the afternoons and would like to help run a hot-glue gun or utility knife, please contact Mike.
