Our Outdoor Ed trip was amazing. Thank you to all who made it happen: the Bob Perry Family and the Fales family who allowed us to use their ranch; the parents who showed up to load, set up and take down equipment, help with food preparation and serving, apply sunscreen and supervise kids; Angie’s Dad, Greg Bovee, for teaching the kids how to be responsible anglers; and, of course the bus drivers. We hiked, played, fished, ate and slept in a postcard-perfect Rocky Mountain setting. These Outdoor Education trips are a big undertaking, but the learning that happens is invaluable. ODE not only builds community and culture, but also teaches awareness, resilience, teamwork, leadership and executive skills in a way we could never accomplish in the classroom. So THANK YOU ALL for helping us to create this tremendous learning opportunity for your children.
April Enzer has set up a Shutterfly account for sharing photos. If you didn’t receive her email with the link, here it is again: https://12learningcenterccs.shutterfly.com/ Thank you, April, for putting this together. There were so many great photo ops!
