Halloween

Highlights: The Ks had a wonderful day wearing their costumes, watching everyone at the costume contest, participating in the Carnival activities, making bats and ceramic saucers, and playing outside.  They were so happy and proud of their costumes. Language Arts:  The Ks acted out and recited Halloween poems and learned to read new books. Highlights:  The Ks continued to think about, illustrate, and write ways they could care for themselves and others. The gorgeous field of greens growing at the Rock Bottom Ranch. Highlights:  We really enjoyed meeting with the families that had conferences on Wednesday.  It was exciting for the students to show you all of their hard work.  We also had two wonderful field trips to Rock Bottom Ranch and Aspen Tree.  The kids saw pigs, chickens and a beautiful green house at Rock Bottom Ranch.  They ended the tour with making apple cider with…
