Highlights: Nordic skiing and Celebrate the Beat kept us very busy this week! Much fun and learning was had by all! What an amazing morning we had at the Aspen Cross Country Center. Happy weekend, everyone! READING UPDATE: Your first grade readers are engaged in not one but two book clubs! We just finished reading Frog and Toad Are Friends by Arnold Lobel. As a group, we learned how to uncover a character’s feelings, thoughts, and actions. We then practiced identifying a trait to describe a character’s personality.
