Robotics

For the last few weeks, third graders have had a robotics science-block. After building simple robots, our primary focus has been on programming. Be sure to ask your third grader about their robot, and what they programmed it to do. Fourth graders start this project today.

4th Grade Passage

As you may have heard from your children, this year we are implementing a “4th Grade Passage.” The step from 4th grade to 5th has always been a big one at CCS, signified by the movement from the “Little kids’” side of the building to the “Big kids.’”  As students move to the “other side,” they have increased responsibility, more academic rigor, increased homework, and all that comes with middle school.   To help with…
