8th Grade Debates Removal of Confederate Monuments

“There is a difference between remembrance of history and reverence of it.” -Mitch Landrieu, Mayor of New Orleans, who recently ordered the removal of four statues of Confederate Generals. Pakistani Pen Pals Now, Glenwood Caverns Upcoming

Dear 7 & 8 Parents- 1.  This fall our students will be participating in a digital Pen Pal program called “Global Kid Connect” with students who attend reduced fee schools in Pakistan run by the Marshall Direct Fund. This will coincide with our study this year of Ancient & Medieval world cultures and religions, including the beginnings and spread of Islam.
